In FY24, Reliance Industries made a contribution of Rs 1.86 lakh crore to the national exchequer.

According to preliminary figures, net corporation tax revenue increased 10.26% in FY24 from Rs. 8.26 lakh crore to Rs. 9.11 lakh crore.

Reliance Industries Ltd. reported in its annual report on August 7 that its contribution to the national exchequer increased by 5% from the previous year to Rs 1.86 lakh crore in FY24.

Reliance increased its contribution from Rs 1.77 lakh crore in the previous fiscal year to Rs 1.86 lakh crore in the current one. According to the corporation, RIL's contribution to the national exchequer has surpassed Rs 1 lakh crore for six years running. It further stated that RIL's total contribution over the previous seven years, up till FY24, has surpassed Rs 10 lakh crore.

Net corporate tax collection (provisional) in FY24 was Rs. 9.11 lakh crore, up 10.26% from Rs. 8.26 lakh crore in the previous fiscal year, according to official figures.

Reliance's annual report states that the company's net value climbed by 11.1 percent to Rs. 7.43 lakh crore in FY24.

In the meanwhile, the RIL Annual Report detailed the company's goals for the green energy industry and included an update on the success of its several business sectors, including Retail, Digital Services, O2C, and E&P.

In FY24, the company's net profit increased by 7.3% to Rs 79,020 crore thanks to robust operating results across all divisions.
On August 29, 2024, Reliance is scheduled to have its 47th Annual General Meeting (AGM).
